$62.02Silky brand TSURUGI Curve 8.3” (210mm), medium teeth pruning saw with 8.5 teeth per inch with scabbard
Description
Silky has taken the unique design of the straight Tsurugi and tweaked it just a bit in shape and size. The result is a much more aggressive blade in popular sizes which will still fit into tight crotches without damage to opposing limbs. Meaning “long sword” in English, the TSURUGI is a unique tree saw that utilizes advanced materials and blade grinding techniques to deliver a durable, super slender “spine of teeth,” designed to cut hard-to-soft wood, even in tight quarters and densely branched shrubbery. In the prototype stage of development, professionals were amazed by the cutting power and surgical precision that this sleek new blade affords. You will especially appreciate its value when clearing areas too tight for brush axes or other tools. Thanks to Silky’s creative team, the TSURUGI comes to market as perhaps the lightest weight, best balanced “big saw” ever produced, having no handle screws, nuts or extraneous hardware. The comfortable, 2-part rubber grip is held together by an ingenious integration with the blade tang. And as if the saw alone weren’t enough in weight reduction, each Silky TSURUGI handsaw comes in a unique aluminum scabbard that can be attached to the belt or leg depending on your preference and has rollers built into the entryway to protect both the scabbard and the saw.
Larger teeth means the cut will go faster but with a rougher finish. Finer teeth means the cut will go slower, but with a smoother finish.
