Steel construction blades are resharpenable and offer lasting strength and durability, and include a 3/8” limb notch built into the blade for cutting larger material. The bottom blade is coated with a special non-stick coating for ease of cutting. The forged solid steel alloy blades are fully heat treated. Long blades make it easier to shape a hedge the right way. Our Bypass Blade Hedge Shears feature a precision-made self-aligning pivot bolt. These heavy duty loppers include two integrated rubber shock-absorbing bumper stops which help reduce arm and shoulder fatigue and the jarring conclusion at the end of cuts.
